Transicare was established in October of 2004 as a private, for profit provider of non-emergency behavioral-health transportation services.  In 2006 we expanded into providing other forms of transitional services to meet the behavioral health needs of the individuals we serve and have been providing outstanding behavioral health since that time.

In 2004 Bonnie Athens, RN and Scott Black, LMSW created Transicare to offer a quality, cost-effective transportation solution to providers of behavioral health services.  In 2006 we expanded into providing other transitional services  in the form of liaison and Single Portal Authority services for behavioral health consumers.  Regardless of the capacity in which we function we envision ourselves as an extension of the treatment  intervention being initiated by the respective behavioral health provider.
